A fremont Gem! Whether its dine in or via door-dash, this place always takes care of my late night adian bbq cravings when in the Bay! I go for the tendons sticks, chicken skin, beef, baonbun slices, green onions, cucumbers side dish! Ambiance is excellent, typical Of asian joint! Ive tried other places that have similar food but it doesnt compare to Ace king! 10/10 Chef's kisses!

Very yummy skewers -- appetizers & skewers super flavorful. Fast service. Easy to order from the QR code. Definitely very chill with fun music. Have already asked friends to come again. Recommend the chicken hearts + gizzards & lamb. Yum.

I absolute love eating skewers and when I found out about this place I knew that I had to go. Unfortunately, it took a long time before I was able to find a chance to come but I was not disappointed at all. It's a small place and when I went it wasn't too crowded given that it was a Tuesday night. The skewers there are made quite well without it being burnt but having a crispy exterior while retaining juicieness inside. My favorites were definitely the lamb skewers, beef tripe, chicken skin, gristle, gizzard, and wings. Drinks are a bit pricy here so that is something to consider but definitely a good place to hang with friends over some skewers and drinks

This place was recommended to me because I really was craving skewers. This restaurant is small and somewhat tucked away but has a really good positive energy. Food is ordered from the qr code on the table and they offer a wide selection of food at a more affordable rate than an sf izakaya which was a must for me. My table got a lot of chicken skin, gizzards, hearts, bacon wrapped enoki, fried chicken, a choy, chives, beef, and lamb. The only downside is that it seems almost like the seasoning is the same for all of their grilled items. Probably a mix of chili powder, cumin, salt and pepper. Service is short staffed but really fast and attentive. The atmosphere is very casual and meant for hanging out with friends. Overall I was impressed and would recommend coming here for skewers especially if you have been craving it.

Sometimes it's hard to rate places, but what I remember about this place was that I left very satisfied. I'd probably give it a 4.5 if I could, but I would easily recommend this for others. The skewers were plentiful and tasty, the noodle dishes were bountiful. There weren't any dishes I was disappointed by and I feel like it has the common items, it has the exotic items, it just has something for everyone. The biggest downside of the place is it's use of cheap plates and utensils imo. So if you're looking for a nice dinner vibe vs casual place, this probably won't be the place for it.

Good food great service !!! My favorite bbq spot in sf I been going here a lot of times still good

The 1st and last pic was taken this year, and the 2 in the middle are from 2020 and 2021, and there're couple more pi of their food throughout the years that I've taken that i couldn't find anymore. So as you can see, I'm a really loyal customer of them, and I have to say, this is definitely my favorite restaurant in the whole SF city ever since I moved here 4 years ago, the one and only. I enjoy ordering from them as my late night munchies, take couple of shots, get a little light headed, then feast on the amazing bbq meats. It just reminds me a lot of being back in China and eating bbq skewers and drinking with friends. It's nostalgic for me. And also the taste of all the skewers here are MIND BLOWING-LY GOOD, I don't know why the way they are seasoned is just so perfect for me, fulled of flavors without losing the balances and the natural taste of the ingredients, it's just irreplaceable. I can't even tell what spices they had used on these skewers and I'm a pretty good cook I can normally tell when I taste something, but for this I'm like, you know what I don't even wanna try to figure it out cuz I'll just let professionals handle it since it's so perfect. And they never failed me. Every time I order from them it's just always pure satisfaction and enjoyment. I honestly didn't even like Chinese bbq skewers before, like even when I was in China? I didn't know bbq skewers can taste this good, but this place just hits me right on the g spot. Alright let's talk about some individual items that I think are worth mentioning. Here are some must-have: 1st fav: the chicken skin skewers. OMFG they are bomb. I've honestly never had these anywhere before, and I was worried that they might be greasy or gross, but then after I've tried the chicken skin skewers from them everything changed --it started becoming my favorite bbq skewers item of all time, like I'll walk out of a bbq place if they don't serve this. It's seasoned just right, and the texture is so great, crispy like a chicken chicharrones on the outside, soft and tender and juicy on the inside. When you bite into it, you can hear the crunchy crushing sound first, then it's the sound of explosion of chicken oil in your mouth, it's just a wonderful feeling. As you can see in the 2nd pic I used to be so addicted to these that I'd order 6 of them in a meal just for myself lol. 2nd pig feet. They are so soft and tender, I can easily break them down just chopsticks, but not too soft to makes them lose the texture and the lean parts being too chewy. You can easily tell they were marinated and simmered for hours first before they get on the grill and be seasoned again, but they have a perfect balance of flavors. Plus they are great in portions. 3rd beef skewers. I'm actually more of a lamb person, but after I've ordered the lamb skewers and beef skewers from them multiple times I realized the beef tastes better here because it has a strong, buttery, beefy flavor to it, even with all the spices and seasonings you can still easily taste it, which I enjoy a lot. The beef skewers are also so soft and tender and not chewy at all, with a perfect ratio of fat and lean meats. 4. lamb kidney, I mean they are really small comparing to the ones you'd found in China, but still, you don't get the satisfaction of eating grilled lamb kidneys from anything else if you are a fan. They are just so addictive, the fat, the strong flavor of lamb, and the texture, it's just so unique and delicious in its own way. The only problem is how expensive they are. As for veggies, I would always order the chive skewers, they are so good with the seasonings and they are not dry even after being grilled. I don't even like Chinese chives that much, like I don't even like them in dumplings, but I'm in love with them when they are seasoned like this and grilled to perfection. I always order at least two of these with every orders I've placed. My 2nd fav veggies from them is probably the eggplant slices, as they suck up the flavors a lot, are soft and juicy, and it's more affordable than the garlic eggplant foil packet. 3.grilled coriander/cilantro rolls, I love cilantro but I'm never a fan of tofu skin and they tend to get too hard after grilling. Here are some items that I personally would not recommend: 1. pork skin and grilled cattle ligament. They are very hard and chewy. 2.bee tripe and beef tendon. They are soft and tender enough but have a weird and kinda gross aftertaste that I don't know how to describe. And I normally love these two so I don't understand. 3.roasted quail. Too small and dry with barely any meat. 4.fish cakes and fish balls. They tend to shrink a lot after being grilled and the texture is no longer desirable. 5.winkles. Too small and dry and fishy. 6. corn, because it's not sweet corn, they are waxy corns and I hated those. So that's about it I'll still give this place 5 stars since how much I love it for the parts I like, and I hope they can keep getting better.

Bring your own personal gallon of water when you come here cus everything is definitely very "yeet hay." Made reservations for my family of 7 on Sunday night and a table was prepared for us when we came in. We ordered a bunch of skewers, appetizers, and noodles. Everything was so delicious!! One thing I am slightly iffy about is how everything has the exact same drenched seasoning on it. But even the seasoning is amazing and can't have enough of it. Tip: make a resy if you're in a larger party since the restaurant is small and has limited tables.
